CMC Rescue’s new Helitack HotSeat™ rescue extrication device is designed for rapid transport of a subject by means of helicopter hoisting or short-hauling. The quick-donning device expedites the rescue by enabling the rescuer to secure a victim in a stable semi-seated orientation for fast and efficient extrication without the need of donning them into a harness. The HotSeat adjusts quickly and secures small juvenile patients to larger persons up to 500 lbs (227 kg). The HotSeat is manufactured of heavy-duty fabric and construction for long life and durability in harsh environments.
